The Architecture of Quiet Durability

When you write for depth rather than algorithmic velocity, your words gain genuine durability. A quiet publication on your personal domain outlives a thousand noisy social feeds.

The 3-Step Flow

Pure writing. Zero admin.

You already know how to use email. That means you already know how to publish.

01

Claim your subdomain

Sign up with one click. Pick your public URL (like yourname.typejot.com) and whitelist your personal email address. No passwords or complicated setup required.

02

Compose an email

Open your favorite mail app on phone or desktop. Write naturally with subject line as your post title. Attach photos if you want an image gallery, or leave it blank for curated art.

03

Hit send to publish

Send to post@typejot.com. Our edge worker receives the mail, checks the available sender authentication results, formats the single-column typography, and serves it through the global edge.

The Anti-Slop Manifesto

Why writing via email changes everything

Modern blogging platforms became complex marketing suites. We stripped away 95% of the noise to return to what matters.

📭

Friction kills consistency

When you have to open a browser, sign in, open a CMS, and navigate block builders, most ideas die in your head. Email is already in your pocket, online or offline.

🔇

No attention mining

No algorithmic feeds, no "You might also like" clickbait, no popup email subscription modals, and zero third-party tracking cookies. Just your thoughts and your readers.

🌐

Own your domain & identity

Every author gets a personal subdomain on typejot.com, and Pro members can connect their own custom domain (e.g. notes.yourname.com) with automatic edge SSL.

⚡

Edge-rendered close to readers

Powered by Cloudflare Workers and D1. Public pages are served through the edge without spinning origin servers or heavy PHP execution.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you verify it’s really me sending the post?

Cloudflare Email Routing handles mail delivery and its authentication requirements. When an email arrives at post@typejot.com, we check the available authentication results and require a sender address that is currently verified for your blog. These checks complement SPF, DKIM, and DMARC; they do not replace your mail provider’s enforcement.

Can I attach photos and images?

Yes! Simply attach JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP photos to your email. The first image becomes the post’s prominent hero image, and any additional images are placed into a clean inline gallery.

Can I use my own custom domain?

Yes! You can connect your own domain (like blog.yourname.com or yourname.com). We manage Cloudflare SSL certificates automatically so your blog is always secure.

How do I edit or delete a post?

You can manage your posts anytime from your clean web dashboard. You can also reply to the publication confirmation email with commands like CHANGE TITLE TO: A New Title Here, DELETE, RESTORE, CHANGE PHOTO.

Can readers subscribe to my blog?

Yes! Every blog automatically generates an RSS 2.0 feed at /rss.xml and a sitemap at /sitemap.xml. Readers using Feedly, NetNewsWire, or any feed reader can follow you directly.

What happens to my content if I decide to leave?

You own all your words. You can download a complete JSON archive containing your original and published text, post metadata, media metadata, and copied original media when available.
