Ecosystem Standards

Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: September 2026 · Protecting a Peaceful Publishing Space

Typejot was created to be a quiet sanctuary for long-form writing, personal essays, notes, and photography. To preserve this sanctuary for all writers and readers, all users must adhere to these standards.

1. Prohibited Content & Activities

You may not use Typejot to host, publish, or transmit:

  • Malware & Phishing: Links to malicious software, credential harvesting pages, ransomware, or exploits.
  • Unsolicited Commercial Spam: Automated doorway pages, mass link-farming schemes, or content intended solely to manipulate search engine rankings.
  • Harassment & Hate Speech: Doxxing, targeted harassment, threats of violence, or incitement of violence against individuals or protected groups.
  • Illegal Content: Child sexual exploitation material (CSAM), copyright infringement, or unauthorized distribution of private personal data.
  • Impersonation: Spoofing identities, forged email headers, or misleading representations of organization affiliations.

2. Inbound Rate Limits & System Integrity

To protect edge infrastructure and ensure prompt delivery for all writers, inbound email submissions are subject to fair-use rate limiting. Attempts to flood the inbound gateway (post@typejot.com) with automated scripts or unauthenticated traffic will trigger immediate IP and sender blocks.

3. Reporting Violations

If you encounter a site hosted on Typejot that violates these rules, please report it immediately using our Public Report Form or email our trust and safety team at abuse@typejot.com.

4. Enforcement & Takedowns

We investigate verified abuse reports promptly. Violating sites may be warned, suspended, or permanently terminated without refund in cases of severe or intentional harm.
