Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, registering a publication handle, or sending email submissions to post@typejot.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Typejot.

2. Content Ownership & Rights

You retain full, unrestricted ownership, copyright, and all other rights to the content you create and publish through Typejot.

By submitting content via email or our publication desk, you grant Typejot only the limited, non-exclusive license required to process, convert, host, format, cache, and display your posts and attached media on the web and through automated feeds (RSS and sitemaps) on your behalf.

We do not claim any ownership over your writing. We do not license your work to third parties, and we do not use your private drafts or public posts to train commercial third-party language models.

3. Inbound Email Publishing & Authentication

Typejot publishes posts received at post@typejot.com. Cloudflare Email Routing handles mail delivery and its authentication requirements; Typejot then checks available authentication results and matches the sender to an address you have verified for your publication.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email accounts you designate as verified senders. A message that passes the available checks and comes from a currently verified sender may be treated as an instruction to publish or modify content. These checks complement, rather than replace, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC enforcement by your mail provider.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Typejot offers a time-limited Preview and a Pro subscription:

• 14-Day Preview: Provided at no monetary cost with 1 verified sender, a personal subdomain, up to 3 private test posts, 128 MB media storage, and the default blog theme. Public publishing requires Pro.
• Pro Plan: Billed at either $5.99 per month or $49 per year (a 32% annual discount). Includes up to 100 published posts per month, custom domain support with automated edge SSL, up to 3 verified senders, 2 GB media storage, all four curated themes, and priority support.

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time with a single click in your publication desk. Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain active through the end of your prepaid billing period. After access ends, the blog becomes private and your published words remain stored.

5. Acceptable Use & Conduct

We believe in maintaining an honest, respectful, and peaceful publishing environment. You agree not to use Typejot to distribute malware, phishing schemes, spam, unauthorized commercial solicitation, defamation, illegal material, or content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others. For complete guidelines, see our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Data Portability & Account Termination

You can request a complete publication archive—including original and published text, post metadata, media metadata, and copied original media when available—at any time from your publication desk. The archive is generated asynchronously and becomes available to download when ready.

You may delete your account at any time. When an account is deleted, your publication, hosted files, and verified senders are permanently removed from our edge network and databases.

7. Service Level & Disclaimers

Typejot is distributed through Cloudflare's serverless edge network. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from network interruptions or third-party email provider transit delays.
