Privacy Policy
1. The Information We Collect
We collect only the minimal data strictly necessary to operate your email-to-blog publication:
- Account & Authentication: Your email address, used to authenticate you via passwordless magic links and manage your account.
- Verified Senders: The authorized email addresses you designate for publishing to your blog.
- Content & Media: The subject line, body text, and photo attachments you submit for publishing, stored in encrypted Cloudflare D1 databases and R2 storage.
- Edge Operational Logs: Temporary, sanitized edge telemetry (IP address and user agent) retained strictly for rate-limiting, DDoS mitigation, and anti-abuse defense, automatically rotated out.
2. How We Process Inbound Emails
When you send an email to post@typejot.com, Cloudflare Email Routing delivers it to our edge worker. Typejot checks the available authentication results, matches the sender against your verified addresses, stores supported media securely in Cloudflare R2, and publishes the post after processing.
We do not share your emails with marketers, advertisers, or third-party aggregators.
3. Reader Privacy on Your Public Blog
When readers browse your Typejot publication, we respect their privacy completely:
- No tracking cookies or fingerprinting scripts are placed on reader devices.
- No invasive cookie-consent banners are required because no surveillance trackers exist.
- Readers can subscribe anonymously via RSS feeds (
/rss.xml) without creating an account or providing an email address.
4. Infrastructure & Data Processors
To deliver lightning-fast page loads worldwide, Typejot utilizes trusted enterprise infrastructure partners:
- Cloudflare: Global edge compute, CDN caching, D1 SQL storage, and R2 object storage.
- Transactional Mail: High-reputation transactional delivery providers strictly for sending your sign-in magic links and post-publishing confirmation receipts.
5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy standards, you have the right to access, export, or permanently delete your personal information at any time:
- Export Archive: Request a JSON archive of your posts, source and published text, media metadata, and copied original media when available. It is generated asynchronously and available to download when ready.
- Permanent Deletion: Deleting your publication permanently purges your records from our databases and R2 storage buckets.
6. Contact Us
